One dead in Kerikeri crash, SH10 closed

Unexplained death in Taita, Lower Hutt early on Sunday 26th January 2020.  A Police cordon and crime scene invetsigation tent were in place Monday 27th January 2020.  Police Emergency tape.

One person has died in a two-vehicle crash near Kerikeri that has closed State Highway 10.

The incident has blocked both lanes on Springbank Road/SH10, police said.

An occupant of one vehicle has died and another person has serious injuries.

Police advise motorists to expect significant delays and avoid SH10 if possible.
