We’re looking for the nicest neighbours in town. Nominate someone in your hood, and your special neighbour could feature on Stuff and Neighbourly as an inspiration to us all. Plus, you’ll both receive a $25 Prezzy card. A Nice Neighbour is someone who has helped to make a difference in your life, or the lives of others. Nominate your Nice Neighbour here.

This week’s Nice Neighbour is Lynne Buchanan of Kaikohe, nominated by Jane Owen.

Buchanan is in her 70s and has the care and guardianship of four grandchildren aged from 6 to 11. Despite this, she has been there for Owen for the last few months.

“I have been in and out of hospital and been unable to do so many things. She has called over nearly every day, made treats for me, taken me shopping, helped with household chores and generally made my life liveable. I can never thank her enough,” said Owen.

Go to Neighbourly to nominate a Nice Neighbour you know.
