A crucial Northland road, the main alternative route to State Highway One, while slips on the Brynderwyns are fixed has reopened after a crash.
It is the second time this month part of Cove Road winding through Waipu and Langs Beach has has to close.
Last week, the same road partly closed after a serious crash that injured seven people, four of them children.
Police said there have been no injuries today, after a truck crashed and blocked both lanes.
The crash was reported just before 11.30am on Wednesday.
Cove Road was closed between Tuaraki and Bream Tail roads but reopened after 2.30pm.
Police said: “We thank motorists for their patience while the scene was cleared.”
