Amelia James, is missing from her Kaitaia home.
Police have appealed to the public in the search for 14-year-old Amelia James, who has gone missing from her home Far North home in Kaitaia.
According to police, the teen is new to the area.
“She was last seen wearing a black top, black shorts and red shoes,” police said in a statement.
Amelia also has family in the Ashburton area, police said.

Have you seen Amelia? Police are urging anyone with information to come forward.
“Police and her family are concerned for her wellbeing and would like to see her return home,” the statement said.
Police are urging for anyone who may have any information on Amelia’s whereabouts, or may be able to assist police with locating her, to contact 111, and quote file number 220731/0823.
